Nearly 20 downtown bars and restaurants have joined the city’s program allowing people to carry alcohol with them throughout the entertainment district since it began in 2020.
“An entertainment district operates where a patron of any establishment within the entertainment district, as long as they have the correct wristband and specific cup that’s been approved by the city administrator, can buy a drink and carry it outside,” City Administrator Carl Geffken said.
