A 21-year-old US Air National Guardsman has been arrested over a leak of classified military intelligence that has rattled the US and its allies.
Jack Teixeira, who reportedly shared the files in an online gaming chatroom, faces charges under the Espionage Act.
Aerial footage showed officers making an arrest at Mr Teixeira’s family home in Dighton, Massachusetts.
The documents he leaked revealed intelligence about the war in Ukraine and US spying on allies.
Based on the fact that our political and military Establishment seems to be less than happy about these leaks, I am inclined to believe that the information is legit, and that Airman Teixeira is a national hero. Hopefully this undermines our war effort and leads to the end of our dumb government’s dumb quest to expand NATO at all costs.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated again that he intends to regain control of Crimea and other Russian-controlled areas in his country.
Zelenskyy made the remark on Friday. Ukrainian troops are planning to conduct a major counteroffensive against the Russian military sometime soon. Russia unilaterally annexed the peninsula in the southern region in 2014.
On Friday, Zelenskyy called Russia an evil that Ukrainians can defeat. He indicated that the de-occupation of the peninsula is the only option for Ukraine and for the world. He said there is no alternative.
The US/EU/NATO sock puppet Zelensky will say anything for a dollar, but at the end of the day, Crimea is Russia. The promised Ukrainian counteroffensive is unlikely to happen at all, and if it does, Ukraine is still going to lose the war.
The Chinese PLA’s eastern theatre command (ETC) said it launched “combat alert patrols” under the “Joint Sword” exercises in the Taiwan Strait, which divides the Chinese mainland from the island, “encircling” it from the north, south and east.
The PLA deployment around Taiwan includes long-range rocket, artillery, destroyers, frigates, missile boats, fighters, bombers, electronic warfare aircraft, aerial tankers and conventional missiles.
The drone test is the latest in a flurry of other weapon tests carried out by the North in the wake of US-led drills being carried out in the Korean peninsula.
The tests of the underwater drone were carried out in the span of four days, between 4 and 7 April, the state-run Korean Central News Agency said on Saturday.
The tests were carried out just a little more than a week after the Kim Jong-un regime tested the first version of the drone, called “Haeil” – a Korean word meaning tidal waves or tsunamis.
North Korea claims “Haeil-1”, tested at the end of March, can set off a “super-scale radioactive tsunami” that is designed to destroy ports and decimate naval fleets.

None of this makes Finland or NATO safer. None of this helps the world in any way.
