On Monday, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea said Saudi Arabia had imposed an “unjust and oppressive siege on our dear people for nearly 12 years, plundering our resources and imposing a comprehensive blockade on our ports and airports by land, sea, and air”.
He then announced that the group had decided to respond by declaring a “maritime embargo against the criminal Saudi enemy, based on the equation of ‘an eye for an eye'”.
Although this is happening outside the context of Operation Iranian IV, it would be correct to understand that the two conflicts are merged. POTUS would do well not to start and lose another war against Yemen, like he did in 2025, because he has his hands full with all of these other wars he has been starting and losing against Iran.
