WCTI:
Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit who were sent to Afghanistan to help with evacuations returned home to Camp Lejeune Tuesday.
People in Jacksonville said the news of the Marines’ return home is emotional and brings them relief, knowing they are returning home safely.
They caught their flight, after all.
