Charlie Daniels has died “of a hemorrhagic stroke.” The Bluegrass, Country, and Southern Rock music genres have lost an icon. He played Riverfront Park a decade ago, and put on a great show. Me, two friends, and my dog put our canoes in the Poteau River at Arkoma Park a couple of hours before the show, and floated up downtown right in time for the show to kick off.
