Fifteen years ago today, Pink Floyd reunited at Live 8. It was the first time Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright, and David Gilmour played together since 1981. Syd Barrett, their original lead singer and guitarist, who left the band in 1968 amid his terrible struggle with mental illness, died in 2006.
