China Pushes Back After Trump Tightens The Screws On Iran

The New York Times:

China lashed out at the Trump administration’s new sanctions campaign against Iran on Tuesday, warning that it would defend its interests and accusing the United States of disrupting the global financial order.

The reaction set the stage for renewed friction between the world’s superpowers.

So it turns out that China is not suddenly going to stab Iran in the back upon Trump’s orders. But that is the point. No one believed they would. And so now we have a renewed conflict with China, which we can escalate as needed.

It is important to remember that the merging of Project Ukraine with the Iran debacle cannot fully transform into nuclear World War III if we forget about China.
