Russian President Vladimir Putin has told both President Trump and Iranian officials that he supports the idea of a nuclear deal in which Iran is unable to enrich uranium, sources familiar with those discussions tell Axios.
This is not completely implausible, although I was skeptical when I began seeing these reports earlier this weekend. It seems unlikely that Russia would expect Iran to completely abandon their God-given right to enrich uranium.
