KOCO:

Although it’s been a nice end to the week, severe weather is expected to come into Oklahoma over the weekend.

KOCO meteorologist Jonathan Conder says there is a risk for severe weather Sunday. Oklahoma City has a marginal risk for severe storms, and southeast Oklahoma has a slight risk.

The storms are expected to bring hail, and there is a low tornado risk in southeast Oklahoma.

Storms could flare up in western Oklahoma starting at 3 p.m. Sunday and are expected to be in central Oklahoma by around 7 p.m. Jonathan says the severe weather should start in eastern Oklahoma by 10 p.m. Sunday.
