Case Update: Arkansas COVID-19 Cases Increase By 1,685 Tuesday, Active Cases Continue Decline

New COVID-19 cases in Arkansas increased by 1,685 on Tuesday, as active cases and hospitalizations continued to decline in Arkansas and across much of the United States.

Hospitalizations fell by 32, bringing the total number of patients hospitalized in the state to 1,050, according to the Arkansas Department of Health.

State officials also announced 44 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the state as a result of the pandemic to 10,141.

There are currently 157 patients on ventilators statewide, down 32 from the previous day.
