Oklahoma Reports More Than 2,200 New COVID-19 Cases, 62 Additional Deaths Since Saturday’s Update

The Oklahoma State Department of Health on Monday reported 2,237 new COVID-19 cases across the state since Saturday, bringing the total cumulative number of the state’s positive cases to 997,783.

According to the health department, Monday’s seven-day rolling average for the number of new cases reported is 2,981.

The state’s total provisional death count, according to the CDC/NCHS, stands at 13,594 as of Monday; that’s 62 more deaths compared to Friday’s update.

Health officials reported that there are 50,355 total active cases and that the recent three-day average hospitalizations stand at 1,916. Officials also reported that there are 74 pediatric hospitalizations.
