Another storm is set to hit Western Arkansas this week with snow forecasted to arrive in Fort Smith Wednesday, eventually resulting in an accumulation of 1 to 3 inches.
The city will start seeing rain Tuesday afternoon that will transition to freezing rain and sleet on Wednesday afternoon. By Thursday morning the precipitation should be mostly snow, said Ray Sondag, a meteorologist with the Tulsa National Weather Service station.
The system should move out of the area by Friday.
