The National Weather Service predicts a 20% to 30% chance of snow for most of the region Wednesday night into early Thursday.
Accumulations are expected to be less than half an inch and travel will not be impacted, the service states on its website. In some areas of southeast Oklahoma, the snow may be mixed with rain.
Snow and wintry mix is not predicted for most of Fort Smith and the River Valley.
