French record producer Mark Wirtz has died “from Pick’s Disease, a form of dementia.” He first developed the “Rock Opera” concept, and worked with many important figures from the earliest days of Psychedelic Rock development in the UK; especially members of the band Tomorrow. His A Teenage Opera featured a song titled “Mr. Rainbow” that was a cover of Tomorrow’s “Hallucinations.”
