BBC News:
US President Donald Trump has said Russia and Ukraine “are very close to a deal”, hours after his envoy Steve Witkoff and Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks in Moscow.
Trump said it had been a “good day” of negotiations, while the Kremlin described the talks – which Ukraine was not present at – as “constructive”.
Earlier, Trump said on social media that “most of the major points are agreed to,” and urged Russia and Ukraine to meet “at very high levels” and “to finish it [the deal] off”.
Spoiler alert: Russia and the US/EU/NATO puppet government in Kiev are nowhere near a deal to end the war.
As the reader can see, I have not been blogging regularly. When I originally re-started this blog, I did not intend for it to be political (I have not voted since 2004). Yet the content shifted, as the disaster of Joe Biden’s Deep State sock puppet presidency unfolded like a slow-moving train wreck. Blogging the actual presidency of Donald Trump is slightly diffiult. He is, after all, and for better or worse, an actual president. He does not simply read from the teleprompter whatever moronic speech was written for him to read by a cabal of dumb Globalist, Deep State handlers. President Trump is an actual POTUS, who is actually in charge, and he is always working some sort of angle.
To the sufferer of Trump Derangement Syndrome, the above paragraph may seem overtly pro-Trump, but it is not. President Trump is a true POTUS, who is truly in charge, and that is precisely why we can say that he has failed in Ukraine.
President Trump recently called “his promise to end the Russia-Ukraine war on Day One ‘an exaggeration,'” but we knew this at the time. Donald Trump could have never ended the war on day one of his presidency because he could have never personally compelled all of our proxy forces in Ukraine to abrubtly cease operations.
But he could have halted nearly all US funding, support, and involvement in Ukraine on day one. And he could have kept it halted. Past funding and support would have quickly dried up. The Euro-peons would have worked overtime to undermine us and to keep the war going, which they have done anyway, but the EU is inconsequential. There are things President Trump could be doing to correctly handle the EU, but that is a topic for another day.
Unless the Black Sea ceasefire and the rare-earth minerals deal were designed to be deliberately bad, for some sneaky reason, they were both very dumb ideas and a waste of time. The Russians know that if some sort of peace is formally declared in the Black Sea, then the treachorous Turks will open the straits and transform the Black Sea into a parking lot for Western navies. We are also never going to recoup our losses in Ukraine. Everything we have done there has been for nothing, all of it has been a waste of time, and everyone we have gotten killed there has died for nothing. We do not need to solidify our involvement with an economic packge, we simply need to end our involvement.
President Trump is actively taking steps to keep the war going. He says that he wants to end the war. It is now undoubtedly his war to end.
